Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
